Zero Tolerance For Drug Abuse and Intoxication

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY TOWARDS INTOXICATION AND DRUG ABUSE
EZ Ride Limousine Company is a Drug Free Workplace.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure the safety of all employees. This policy applies to all employees and contractors. Under this policy substances covered are: alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription drugs, over the counter drugs and synthetic drugs.
We reserve the right to inspect the company vehicle and the right to conduct alcohol and drug tests at any time. The company may terminate your employment if you violate this policy, refuse to be tested, provide false information or fail to cooperate in a company investigation regarding drug or alcohol use.
Definitions under this policy.
1. “Alcohol” means the intoxicating agent in beverage alcohol.
2. “Drug” means any substance other than alcohol.
3. “Controlled Substance” is a drug or other substance that is tightly controlled by the government because it may be abused or cause addiction. The control applies to the way the substance is made, used, handled, stored, and distributed. Controlled substances include opioids, stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, and anabolic steroids.
4. “Illegal Drug” is any drug that is illegal for possession, use, or sales.
5. “Drug-Free Workplace” means a workplace where employees are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Company Rules.
a. You may not use or be under the influence of alcohol.
b. You may not use or be under the influence of drugs.
c. You may not sell, or buy drugs. We reserve the right to report such action to the authorities.
d. You may not use or be under the influence of inhalants.
e. You must cooperate with any investigation into drugs or alcohol use.
f. You may not use the vehicle while under intoxication, taking prescription or over the counter drugs that impair your ability to work safely.
g. You must follow all rules if you take prescription or over the counter drugs while conducting company business.
Testing.
Testing may include urine or blood.
Policy Agreement.
I have read a copy of the company Drug Free Workplace Policy. I agree to follow the rules in the policy.
I consent to a drug or alcohol test as a condition of my initial employment or continues employment. I authorize any laboratory or medical provider to release such test result to the company.
